podcasting

hullo...

can anyone out there in the wild blue yonder tell me how i might be able to post podcast files here? or how i might be able to avoid that altogether and still do a podcast thru itunes or something?

i've got this fantastic audio files program i've been meaning to play with and it's high time i got back to radio (but since i don't own a radio frequency, will have to settle for an ethereal one over the internet... too bad too since it's funder week at WMUB, where i work, and have noticed dropping pledge rates.)

SO, if you're near a computer, please help me figure out this podcast situation.

and donate to NPR!!! public radio is the only public service medium left!!

thanks. but i don't have a web server. i think that's the real problem. i need to get the files on the web first somehow, and then i could figure out the rest.

but do you know of a web server i could use?

you think i would, being on two or three indymedia servers over a few years, but sorry no i do not

i have do admit too that aside from not liking podcasting per se, i do not really understand it well - too old school i guess. but i can try asking around a bit - no guarantees) ):

if it is any consolation i mentioned in my 'show' on radio.indy today that podcasting is really a _phenomenon_ because of your very point here though /-:

i forgot... as a last resort, if you go radio.indymedia.org there is a 'create podcast' dialogue box on the left column. i 'think' if you upload an article on open publishing, this will create a podcast link 4 u.

btw, i am one of the most loosely affiliated ppl on the indymedia network, so i can't like endorse you or whatever - if they do not like your articles, they will remove the article from the wire (which has happened to me a lot over the years...)
